Apply today for early consideration !Phlebotomy Enfield, CT 06082Duration: 03 MonthsPay rate: $21- 22/Hr.Position SummaryThe Phlebotomist III – Float represents company Diagnostics to patients by providing exceptional phlebotomy and patient service. This role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all patient interactions.As a Float, this individual provides coverage across multiple locations and functions, ensuring that Patient Service Centers (PSC), In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP), Mobile, and Long-Term Care operations run smoothly and efficiently.The Phlebotomist III – Float also provides leadership support, acting as a mentor, trainer, and resource for new employees, and serving as a point of contact for on-site staff.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality, accurate, and safe blood draws from patients of all ages (pediatric, adult, geriatric).Prepare and process specimens following established laboratory protocols.Provide coverage across multiple locations and roles as needed.Maintain patient trust through professional and compassionate communication.Lead or assist with daily site operations when necessary.Coach, mentor, and onboard new employees and support client onboarding.Act as point of contact for on-site staff and report to the group lead or supervisor.Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Lab Services, IT, Billing, Logistics) to ensure service excellence for high-complexity clients.Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.EducationRequired: High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred: Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).ExperienceRequired: Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Preferred: 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment.Customer service experience in retail or healthcare.Keyboard/data entry proficiency.Benefits:Russell Tobin offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors.#LI-HA2#rta-zr#JD-SCIENCE#RTACompany DescriptionWe are committed to creating a workplace where all employees feel respected, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
