Job Title: Feeder/Finishing Packer (Packing Machine Operator)
Location: Tulare, CA 93274 (On site)
Pay Range: $16 – 17.69/Hr. On W2 (Depending on Experience/Interview)
Duration: Contract Role (Possible Extension or Temp to Hire for Right Candidate)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00PM-5:30 AM

Job Description:

The Forming Machine Packer Inspector is responsible for basic operation of the machines in the Finishing Department that you are assigned to.

This includes ensuring that the machines are performing at 100% efficiency, ensuring that products coming off the machines and being packed is of the highest level of quality, keeping the machines and work area clean and ensuring that you and your teammates are working safely.

Keep machine downtime to an absolute minimum.

Continuously check products to ensure quality.

Carry out Sanitation/Preventative Maintenance procedures listed in the Sanitation/Preventative book attached to each forming machine.

Assist teammates on other machines, when possible, to maximize the performance of the Finishing Department as a whole.

Clean up machines and work area at shift end, in preparation for the next shift.

Ensure that all waste is properly disposed of in hogger not trash.

Must have:

Prepare machines for daily operation. glue tanks, cases/trays and blanks.

Attach/Record all material load tags to/on daily production reports.

Keep Forming Technician aware of machine needed adjustments.

Continuously watch machines to maintain minimal amount of waste.
