Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Connectivity Lead to define and deliver AI tooling and data integration initiatives that enable seamless access to high-quality financial and research datasets. This role blends product leadership, data integration expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to drive AI and analytics capabilities from concept through production in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for AI tooling and data connectivity initiatives, driving products from concept to launch.
- Translate business needs and product strategy into clear requirements, epics, and user stories.
- Partner with engineering, data, and AI/ML teams to design and implement data connectors for internal and external financial datasets.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and availability for analytics and AI models.
- Evaluate, onboard, and maintain new data sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial and fundamental data.
- Continuously assess opportunities to improve data coverage, connectivity, performance, and usability across AI and analytics platforms.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and drive continuous optimization and future investment decisions.
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders, including engineering, research, analytics, and business partners, ensuring clear communication and prioritization.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (MBA or Master’s degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in a data, product, or integration-focused role.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial, market, and research datasets.
- Proven experience in data integration using APIs, data connectors, or ETL frameworks to support AI or analytics use cases.
- Familiarity with AI/ML data pipelines, model lifecycle, and associated tooling.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
- Prior experience in financial services, investment banking, or research-driven organizations.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills with a track record of delivering data-driven products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, streaming).
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and tooling.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data security best practices in financial environments.
- Experience with API standards (REST, GraphQL) and data integration frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with engineering and data science teams to operationalize AI initiatives.
