Title: HR Operations Specialist – Tier 2/Tier 3 (Workday & ServiceNow)
Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Pay Range: $19-24/hr. on W2
Job Description:
- Support U.S. HR Operations through high-volume Workday Core HCM transaction processing, ServiceNow case management, and Tier 2/Tier 3 employee support.
- Execute employee lifecycle transactions, resolve complex HR operational issues, and investigate escalated employee cases through resolution.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of employee data across Workday and ServiceNow.
- Support core HR, compensation, benefits, organizational changes, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Partner with Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HR Technology, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to resolve complex operational issues.
- Participate in process improvement, UAT, production validation, system enhancements, and operational readiness activities.
- Ideal candidates will have 5 years of HR Operations experience, strong hands-on Workday Core HCM experience, and the ability to independently manage complex HR operational cases.
Job Functions:
- Execute high-volume Workday Core HCM transactions supporting the employee lifecycle.
- Process employee data updates, employment changes, job changes, organizational assignments, and other HR transactions.
- Process compensation-related transactions, including salary changes, incentive payments, corrections, and other compensation administration activities.
- Maintain organizational data within Workday, including supervisory organization and organizational structure changes.
- Perform quality reviews and validation of Workday transactions to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and successful completion.
- Manage Tier 2, Tier 3, and Premier HR Operations cases through ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
- Investigate and resolve complex employee inquiries and HR operational issues requiring research, analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify process, data, system, or integration issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate transaction exceptions, employee data discrepancies, integration issues, and other operational problems.
- Partner with HR Technology, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to drive issue resolution.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production validation, system enhancements, and operational deployments.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance employee experience.
- Maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, process documentation, and other operational materials.
- Support HR Operations projects, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change activities.
- Ensure compliance with established policies, data privacy requirements, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, investigation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on employee data accuracy.
- Strong understanding of HR Operations, employee lifecycle processes, and Workday Core HCM.
- Hands-on experience processing Workday employee lifecycle transactions and business processes.
- Experience supporting compensation-related HR transactions and employee data management.
- Experience managing employee cases through ServiceNow HRSD or a comparable HR case management platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently investigate complex HR issues and drive resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting service-level commitments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple HR functions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Workday Core HCM transaction processing experience is required.
- ServiceNow HRSD or comparable HR case management experience is required.
- UAT, production validation, system enhancement, and HR technology deployment experience is preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of progressive HR Operations experience supporting employee lifecycle processes.
- Hands-on experience processing HR transactions in Workday Core HCM.
- Experience processing employee job changes and other advanced Workday Core HCM transactions.
- Experience supporting employee data updates, organizational changes, and employee lifecycle transactions.
- Experience managing employee cases using ServiceNow HRSD or a comparable HR case management platform.
- Experience supporting compensation-related transactions, including salary changes, incentive payments, and corrections.
- Experience investigating and resolving complex HR operational issues and escalated employee cases.
- Experience performing root cause analysis and resolving process, data, system, or integration issues.
- Tier 2/Tier 3 HR Operations experience preferred.
- U.S. HR Operations experience within a large or complex organization preferred.
- Experience partnering with Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HR Technology, and HR Business Partners preferred.
- Experience participating in Workday testing, UAT, production releases, or operational deployments preferred.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives preferred.
- Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, knowledge articles, and HR process documentation preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in West Palm Beach, FL a minimum of 3 days per week required.
- Ability to work within the Eastern Time Zone required.
