Hardware Designer – Additive Manufacturing

Overview:
We’re seeking a Hardware Designer to develop next-gen additive manufacturing (AM) systems. The role focuses on mechanical design, CAD modeling (Siemens NX), and hardware integration for 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and digital fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and optimize mechanical components/assemblies for AM systems.
Create detailed 3D models, large assemblies, and cable layouts in Siemens NX.
Collaborate on hardware requirements, materials, and process parameters.
Analyze designs for performance, manufacturability, and prototyping.
Conduct engineering analyses (tolerance, stress, thermal).
Troubleshoot hardware issues and support testing/failure analysis.
Research new AM materials and technologies; document design standards.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Siemens NX and mechanical design.
Experience with complex systems and large assemblies; cable routing preferred.
Knowledge of additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Microsoft Office and data management familiarity.
