  • Prepare samples, perform chemical treatments, and execute process flows according to established procedures.
  • Support experimental runs and collect accurate process and measurement data.
  • Operate metrology equipment to perform measurements such as thin-film characterization, critical dimension measurements, and SEM imaging.
  • Create and modify process recipes and assist with tuning recipes for improved robustness and performance.
  • Monitor process performance and identify trends, abnormalities, or out-of-specification conditions.
  • Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC), including measurement, analysis, reporting, and identification of potential process issues.
  • Assist engineers with troubleshooting process and equipment issues and clearing basic equipment alarms.
  • Support sample preparation activities including microscopy, cleaving, and other laboratory procedures.
  • Prepare records, charts, graphs, presentations, and technical documentation summarizing experimental results.
  • Assist with developing and improving measurement and metrology procedures.
  • Follow laboratory, safety, chemical handling, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Support training of new technicians and engineering personnel on laboratory procedures and equipment operation.
  • Provide assistance to engineers and other team members with laboratory operations and process execution.
  • Recommend improvements to experiment execution, process efficiency, quality, and laboratory procedures.
  • Work effectively with engineering, metrology, manufacturing, and laboratory operations teams.
