About the Opportunity

Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in building a career in financial services? Russell Tobin is hiring an Financial Analyst to support one of our leading financial services clients.

In this role, you'll review and process new account requests, maintain client account information, generate documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless account opening experience. If you enjoy working with data, solving problems, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

📍 Location: Cohoes, NY (Onsite)

💰 Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00/hour

📅 Contract Opportunity with potential for permanent employment

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process account opening and maintenance requests
• Set up client accounts in internal systems and generate required documentation
• Coordinate and complete operational tasks requested by the business
• Work across multiple systems and platforms to process transactions
• Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and answer policy-related questions
• Support special projects and process improvements as needed
• Identify unusual or suspicious activity and escalate when appropriate
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and information security requirements

Qualifications

✅ Bachelor's degree preferred (Finance, Business, or related field)

✅ Previous experience in operations, banking, financial services, or administrative support preferred

✅ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Advanced Excel preferred)

✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

✅ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills

✅ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

✅ Self-motivated with excellent time management skills

✅ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
