Job Title: Planview Solutions Architect (W2 Contract)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6-month W2 contract (with possible extension)
Pay Rate: $65–$75/hour (based on experience)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Planview Solutions Architect to support a large-scale, global environment. This role is highly stakeholder-facing and focuses on solution design, enablement, and optimizing Planview usage across multiple business groups.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Planview implementation experience and a project management background who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business, finance, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and design tailored Planview solutions
• Develop and present technical solutions, including architecture diagrams, to stakeholders
• Lead and support implementation and integration of Planview and related tools
• Optimize usage of Planview platforms to improve efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, and cost effectiveness
• Contribute to governance, documentation, and best practices (SOPs, work instructions, training materials)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., Scrum calls) as needed
• Support knowledge management efforts, including documentation and training content
• Collaborate with global teams and adapt to varying use cases across business units

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• 8 years of professional experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Planview (Portfolios, Enterprise Architecture, AgilePlace)
• Experience with AgilePlace integrations and add-ons
• At least 3 full-cycle Planview implementations
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in financial services
• Strong project management experience
• Experience with other PPM tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Planview or related certifications (nice to have, not required)

Soft Skills

• Seasoned communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable navigating complex, global team structures
• Adaptable and proactive with a strong problem-solving mindset

Interview Process

• 2 rounds total:
  1. Interview with hiring manager
  2. Interview with an additional team member
