Ultrasound Technologist (PRN)

Performs age specific ultrasound and/or diagnostic radiology procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in order to obtain diagnostic sonograms/radiographs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
EXPERIENCE:

- One year diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:

-BLS certification will be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Must be a Registered Sonographer in good standing with ARDMS and/or ARRT.

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Diagnostic Ultrasound Equipment, Computers.

1. Knowledge of ultrasound examinations
2. Knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation.
3. Knowledge of Radiation Safety.
4. Knowledge of patient transportation methods.
5. Good communication skills.
