How You’ll Contribute
As the People & Culture Coordinator, you will support the daily operations of the People & Culture (HR) team across talent acquisition, employee experience, learning & development, and compliance. This role is responsible for coordinating processes, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring a smooth and consistent experience for candidates and team members throughout the employee lifecycle. This position plays a critical role in keeping People & Culture operations organized, timely, and compliant, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the team member experience.

Requirements
Educational and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with 0–2 years of experience in an administrative, office support, or related role preferred. While a college degree is not required, an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred. Experience in a construction or similar industry is a plus.
Requires general knowledge of business operations and standard office practices, along with the ability to learn and navigate HR systems (e.g., UKG). Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with a focus on providing a high level of service to team members and candidates.
Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment. This includes maintaining strict confidentiality related to employee data, compensation, compliance matters, and personnel situations. Ability to recognize sensitive situations, exercise appropriate judgment in handling information, and escalate concerns when necessary.
Ability to follow established processes while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Coordination
- Schedule candidate phone screens and interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams
- Send pre-employment assessments (e.g., Predictive Index) and track completion
- Coordinate background checks and drug screenings
- With direction, draft and prepare offer letters for candidates
- Support internship program coordination, including scheduling, onboarding, and communication
- Assist with career awareness initiatives such as job shadow coordination
- Coordinate and schedule new hire orientations, ensuring all logistics and materials are prepared
- Support onboarding processes and communication for new team members
- Assist with employee lifecycle processes, including offboarding logistics and separation coordination
- Provide support to team members with HR systems (e.g., UKG troubleshooting, login assistance)
- Maintain employee data across systems to ensure accuracy (HRIS, recognition platforms, calendars, etc.)
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports such as birthdays and work anniversaries
- Coordinate scheduling for team assimilation sessions and development initiatives
- Assist with preparation and logistics for learning sessions and workshops
- Send and track employee assessments and development tools (e.g., Predictive Index)
- Support tracking of L&D activities and ensure timely follow-up
- Assist with coordination of annual wellness screenings, including communication, scheduling, and follow-up
- Provide administrative support for benefits-related initiatives and programs
- Support annual compliance processes such as ACA reporting and Affirmative Action Plan data collection
- Assist with audits and data gathering to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems
- Provide front desk and office coverage as needed (e.g., lunch, break, time off coverage)
- Coordinate scheduling, communications, and logistics across People & Culture functions
- Track recurring tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Identify opportunities to improve or streamline administrative processes while maintaining a positive employee experience
