What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at RUSS DARROW GROUP?
The Russ Darrow Group is actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working with numbers and documentation. This role is well suited for recent graduates, individuals with some accounting coursework, or those with clerical or administrative experience who are interested in building foundational accounting skills.
Responsibilities
• Review vehicle deals for completeness and accuracy, identifying missing or incorrect documents
• Verify required documents are signed and properly completed
• Assist with posting new and used vehicle deals to accounting records
• Support the closing and posting of F&I deals
• Help process customer payoffs and related paperwork
• Assist with maintaining inventory schedules
• Support banking and sales tax processing
• Enter accounting data for new and used retail and lease vehicle deals
• Maintain accurate records and assist with basic financial reports
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and learning new skills while contributing to a collaborative accounting team.
Pay range based on experience and education level.

• Associates degree is a plus but not required
