Church Cleaner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Church Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our church facilities. This role is vital in creating a welcoming and safe environment for congregation members and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial or custodial work, with skills in various cleaning techniques and facility maintenance. Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of all church areas
• Maintain restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure clarity and shine
• Handle trash removal and recycling procedures efficiently
• Assist with light maintenance tasks, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety procedures

Job Type: Part-time
