Description
Seeking highly qualified candidates for full-time, tenure-track teaching positions in our ELA department. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the English curriculum and the developmental needs of adolescent students. The candidates will be expected to utilize a variety of instructional methods and culturally responsive practices to engage learners of all ability levels; to support and strengthen students' reading, thinking and writing skills; to assess student progress on an ongoing basis; and to integrate instructional technology.
Salary
Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
Qualifications
New York State Teaching Certification in English 7-12 is required.
Effective
September 1, 2026
Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27 is required.
