Position Summary: The Telemetry Technician performs a variety of technical tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The duties include continuously observing real-time electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) readouts for multiple patients simultaneously. The telemetry technician measures and records data, alerts nursing regarding changes in condition.

- High school diploma/GED required
- Associate’s Degree/Clinical Certification preferred or comparable central telemetry experience.
- CPR Required
- CNA certification preferred
- Telemetry exam and competency in EKG interpretation must be successfully demonstrated.
