What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Exercise Instructor Level 1 - RUMC Fitness Center position at Rush Copley Medical Center?
Position Summary: This position is responsible for instructing safe, effective group fitness classes, including all Aqua fitness (minus Aqua Taiji, Arthritis Plus, Aqua Yoga) / ATAC / Body Blast / Barbell / HIIT/ On the Ball / Pumped Up Strength / Seniors of Steel / Sit and Fit / Step/ Spartan / Total Body Strength / Zipfit
Position Requirements:
- Certifications:
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED certification.
- Basic level group exercise fitness, aquatic group fitness or personal training as recognized through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Examples include ACE, ACSM, AFAA, ISSA, NASM, AEA.
- A Spartan coach certification must also be held to teach Spartan fitness classes.
- Other:
- Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- The employee may need to work early mornings, evenings and/or weekends to ensure center goals are met.
Salary : $26 - $39
