- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, flooring, and trim
- Repair and maintain existing structures and furniture
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and quality standards
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and team members on projects
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous carpentry or construction experience required
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mathematical and measuring skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
Salary : $42,000 - $45,000
