RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Creative Director to join for an approximate 8-month project!
This position is a full-time, Monday-Friday position to be based in Culver City, California. Candidates must be willing to commute on-site 5 days per week.
Be at the forefront of redefining creative expression in entertainment marketing. As a Creative Director, you’ll lead the transformation of how we ideate, create, and inspire. This role is about empowering creators to push boundaries and explore new possibilities at the intersection of AI and human creativity. You’ll pioneer how technology can amplify, not replace, creative vision, unlocking new forms of storytelling, enabling unprecedented scale, and inspiring teams to move beyond traditional constraints.
As a Creative Director, You Will:
- Chart the future of creative technology by combining human ingenuity with emerging tools.
- Build proof-of-concepts that showcase the art of the possible, then scale them into real-world solutions.
- Partner with creative teams to identify opportunities where technology can elevate storytelling.
- Guide the development of next-generation creative workflows and tools.
- Inspire, mentor, and lead teams of designers, copywriters, and external partners.
- Present bold creative concepts persuasively to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
As an Applicant, You Bring:
- An online portfolio of work demonstrating innovative, high-quality creative output.
- 8 years of experience driving creative strategy and execution in an agency or in-house team.
- Proven track record of leading creative technology initiatives that expanded storytelling capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Digital Design, or equivalent.
- Strong background in digital and entertainment design (not filmmaking).
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Cinema 4D, and/or generative AI tools.
- Experience leading creative projects end-to-end, from concept through delivery.
- Strength in presenting and articulating creative ideas to senior executives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines while upholding the highest standards.

Compensation
Pay Range: $85.00 - $93.50 (Hourly)
The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
