RumbergerKirk is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of billing and electronic billing for the firm, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with client requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the prebill viewer process, including preparing and distributing prebills.
- Review and edit prebills in coordination with attorneys and staff.
- Maintain accurate client and matter contact information.
- Process edits to posted time and perform Work in Progress (WIP) recalculations.
- Close matters in accordance with firm procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic billing issues.
- Communicate effectively with accounting personnel, attorneys, legal staff, and vendors regarding billing matters.
- Provide backup support for other accounting functions, as needed.
- Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

- Prior office experience required; law firm or accounting experience preferred.
- Team-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, timely work
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical and data entry skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Aderant or similar billing systems
- Reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality
- Professional demeanor, including communication and presentation
