Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with 4–7 years of Project Management experience and a strong background supporting Finance and IT initiatives. This role will act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and upstream business partners to drive a critical revenue reconciliation effort following quarter-end close.
The ideal candidate has experience managing cross-functional projects involving financial reporting, revenue reconciliation, and Financial ERP implementations, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders, resolve reporting gaps, and ensure timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects supporting Finance initiatives and financial systems.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and upstream business teams.
- Drive revenue reconciliation efforts by coordinating investigation and resolution of reporting discrepancies.
- Partner with Finance teams to support financial reporting and quarter-end close activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, issues, and status reporting.
- Facilitate meetings, track action items, and ensure successful project execution.
- Support Financial ERP implementation and enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and IT deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Experience managing projects supporting Finance organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Revenue Reconciliation processes.
- Experience with Financial Reporting initiatives.
- Experience participating in or managing Financial ERP implementation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience coordinating business and IT teams to resolve complex reporting or data issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Financial ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle ERP/Fusion, Workday Financials, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
- Knowledge of financial close, accounting processes, and finance data integration.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
