Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Tech plays a key role in patient care and clinic operations—supporting therapists, preparing treatment areas, and helping patients feel welcome and encouraged. This role is ideal for anyone interested in a future career in physical therapy, kinesiology, or healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists with guided exercises and patient mobility activities
- Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and ensure supplies are stocked
- Greet and check in patients, assist with scheduling and phone calls
- Offer encouragement and support during patient treatments
- Report any patient concerns to the supervising therapist
- Support overall clinic operations and help the team stay on track
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR certification preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Dependable, organized, and team-focused
- Experience in a fitness or healthcare setting is a plus
- Interest in physical therapy or healthcare careers highly valued
