Duties and ResponsibilitiesCultivation & Daily Plant Care
Perform daily plant care including watering, feeding, pruning, trellising, transplanting, and canopy management under the direction of the Cultivation Manager
Assist with cloning and plant propagation following standardized cultivation practices
Monitor plants for signs of pests, disease, or deficiencies and promptly report observations to management
Support the execution of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) tasks as directed
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment to support plant health and compliance standards
Participate in harvesting activities including de-leafing, plant take-down, bucking, and trimming
Compliance, Safety & Standards
Follow all state compliance, safety, and biosecurity protocols at all times
Adhere to facility access, sanitation, and cultivation SOPs
Use required PPE and follow safe handling procedures for all tools, equipment, and supplies
Maintain accurate execution of assigned tasks and participate in training to support ongoing development
Teamwork & Communication
Work collaboratively with cultivation team members to complete daily and weekly goals
Maintain a positive, respectful, and solutions-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment
Receive feedback constructively and demonstrate willingness to learn, adapt, and improve
Communicate effectively with peers and management to support smooth workflow and task execution
Attendance & Punctuality
Consistent and reliable attendance is critical to plant health and facility operations. Cultivators must arrive on time, be prepared to work, adhere to all break and return-from-break expectations, and follow company call-out procedures. Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will not be tolerated.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Cultivation Manager and/or senior management
QualificationsEducation
High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Experience
Previous experience in cultivation, agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, or manufacturing preferred but not required
Experience working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, or highly regulated environment is a plus
Required Knowledge
Basic understanding of plant care or agriculture strongly preferred
Ability to follow SOPs, training, and direction consistently
Familiarity with biosecurity, sanitation, or controlled environment agriculture is a plus
Skills and Abilities
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes
Ability to work efficiently, follow instructions, and complete tasks on time
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong sense of accountability
Ability to remain reliable, punctual, and professional
Comfortable working in humid, plant-filled environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and be on feet for extended periods of time
Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motion
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in warm, humid, and enclosed environments for portions of the shift
Maine state resident
Must pass a drug test and background check (state mandated)
