What You’ll Gain:

Goals & Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with design, drafting, modeling, and technical support using CAD, hydraulic modeling, data management, and related engineering software
- Support the preparation of engineering reports, specifications, cost estimates, planning documents, and utility technology deliverables
- Conduct data collection, research, and technical analysis for project designs
- Participate in fieldwork, site inspections, and utility facility observations under the guidance of senior staff
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project quality and accuracy
- Maintain accurate project documentation and support compliance standards.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
- Current enrollment in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related water, wastewater, or utility technology program
- Basic understanding of water, wastewater, environmental, electrical, controls, or municipal utility systems
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and an interest in hydraulic modeling, data systems, controls, instrumentation, or SCADA platforms
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-focused environment
