In this role, you’ll assist with field and office-based (CAD) survey work, support data collection and analysis, and gain exposure to state-of-the-art surveying technology including drones and total stations. Goals & Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with field data collection using GPS and total stations
- Help with data processing and entry in Civil3d (CAD)
- Support creation and verification of boundary and topographic maps
- Maintain and organize survey equipment and field records
- Work with project teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of survey data
- Aid in performing construction staking for municipal and private projects
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
- Current enrollment in a Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related program
- Basic knowledge of survey instruments and GPS technology
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
