Goals & Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and updating maps and spatial data
- Support data collection and analysis for municipal projects
- Perform quality assurance and data verification tasks
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate GIS solutions into workflows
- Assist with geodatabase management and file organization
- Perform basic spatial analysis and reporting
- Provide general support to senior GIS staff and project managers
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
- Current enrollment in a GIS, Geography, or related degree program
- Familiarity with ArcGIS software or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret spatial data
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
