Since ’93, Rudy’s has been a staple of Seattle’s creative community. For over 28 years our stylists and barbers have provided superior cuts, color, and service to a diverse clientele. We’re looking for an individual to join our team who will work hard to ensure that our shops continue to be comfortable, inviting spaces where every customer feels at home.
As the Front Desk Host, you’ll be face of Rudy’s. From book ending the client experience with outstanding customer service to setting the mood with the right music, you’ll be responsible for keeping the shop looking fresh and feeling fun. If you’ve ever been described as a people person, calm under pressure, punctual, hospitable, organized, encouraging, or a multi-tasker then this fast-paced job is for you.
Responsibilities
- Book client appointments in shop and over the phone, maximizing the schedule for each stylist
- Keep the shop clean; sweeping, laundry, dusting retail, etc.
- Ring out transactions, verifying sales totals throughout the day
- Oversee the shop floor activity and keep the energy up
- Encourage and motivate coworkers to perform to the best of their abilities
- Act as the host on the floor, greeting clients warmly and striving to guarantee their full satisfaction every visit
- Stay calm and collected during periods of occasional intensity
- Have fun balancing multiple priorities: ringing phones, guests at the desk, cleaning duties, DJ duties, and cash/credit transactions

Qualifications
- Must have flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
- The ability to work at multiple locations if need be
- 1 years in customer service, preferably a background in retail
- Passion for retail and sales'
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.97 per hour
