In our hyper-connected world, RUCKUS Networks is redefining how organizations connect, communicate, and collaborate. We’re seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to join our dynamic Solution Engineering team.

This hands-on role is ideal for a seasoned technical professional passionate about enterprise networking, customer engagement, and solution development. You’ll work closely with Sales Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Marketing to design and deliver compelling solutions that showcase the power of RUCKUS technologies and our technology partner integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & PoCs: Architect and implement scalable, repeatable proof-of-concept (PoC) environments and demos that highlight solution capabilities across Wi-Fi, switching, cloud, and security.

Customer Engagement: Support pre-sales and post-sales activities by delivering technical presentations, demos, and deep-dive sessions to customers and partners.

Lab Management: Build and maintain solution engineering labs for testing, validation, and enablement purposes.

Technical Enablement: Develop and deliver enablement materials for Sales Engineers, including demo guides, configuration templates, and training content.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and Engineering to provide feedback, influence roadmap decisions, and ensure alignment with customer needs.

Competitive Analysis: Evaluate competing technologies and solutions; contribute to positioning strategies and differentiation messaging.

Content Creation: Author technical documentation such as solution briefs, deployment guides, and architecture diagrams.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5years in solutions engineering, systems engineering, technical marketing, or related roles in enterprise networking and\or developing solutions.

Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of enterprise networking: Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be), switching (L2/L3, VLANs, STP, routing protocols), NAC, and network security (NGFW, UTM, SD-WAN, SASE).

Familiarity with cloud-managed networking platforms, network analytics, and AIOps.

Experience with scripting/automation tools (Python, Ansible, Bash).

Adept and familiar with APIs and API level integration between platforms.

Proficiency in network testing tools and delivering test results.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting to technical and executive audiences.

You'll Excite Us If You Have

Certifications: CWNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications .

Experience with ZTNA, SASE, SSE architectures.

Prior lab design and PoC framework development.

Familiarity with AI/LLM tools for productivity and content generation.

This role is not budgeted for relocation or immigration or NO C2C candidates please.

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $135,600.00-$190,000.00

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
