Job Summary
We are seeking a part time/fill in dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our Orlando office. We are located inside a retail setting (Target Optical. ) In this role, you will support optometrists by performing various clinical tasks and assisting with the daily operations of the practice, ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Schedule: 1-2 days a week, or as needed
Responsibilities
- Assist optometrists during eye examinations by preparing patients and equipment.
- Conduct preliminary tests such as visual acuity, intraocular pressure measurements, autorefractor, and retinal imaging (training will be provided)
- Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments and billing
- Ensure a clean and organized clinic environment
Experience
- Experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
