This is an integral role developing our next generation SaaS application.  You will be responsible for designing, implementing new features, and maintaining existing functionality.  You will also be involved in improving our AWS infrastructure. 
 
Specific responsibilities include:
 

• Design, implement, and document software for our new SaaS application.
• Improve our existing AWS infrastructure.
• Work with other departments to understand requirements and contribute to release planning.

Research new technologies and prototype new ideas.

• Ensure high testability and quality of the delivered software.
• Work with QA and Operations teams to troubleshoot and fix defects.

Specifically…your technical background will be…
 

• 3 years of development experience with Java.

• Strong knowledge of Java, Multi-threading, NIO, and socket programming.
• 2 yrs with REST API design
• 2 yrs with ORM frameworks (JOOq, Hibernate).
• JavaScript Experience including JQuery
• JavaScript frameworks such as React or AngularJS
• Logic-less templating frameworks (ex. Handlebars.js, Dust.JS, Google Closure Templates)
