What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Tester / Test Analyst position at Rubix Recruiting?
This is a test analyst position for an application test engineer who wants to grow with a talented software firm in a full time capacity. This position is located in South Denver and offers excellent benefits.
- Prepare the estimations, project plans, test plan, test strategy for testing Functional and Non Functional Requirements.
- Participate in the design & development of test strategies, plans and test cases involving data driven test strategies, GUI and database validation.
- Work closely with Development Teams and other cross-functional teams to drive quality through design and implementation
- Perform manual testing
- Must be able to successfully trouble shoot the Defects.
- Actively supporting and enforcing the company's software engineering QA processes and standards within the group.
- Effectively communicate status, metrics and issues on a regular basis and communicate to all stakeholders.
- Create and maintain test plans as our product grows in functionality.
WHAT ABOUT YOU? You have…
- 2 years’ experience in Software QA and Testing
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the role of QA in the software development lifecycle
- Exceptional attention to detail and passionately curious and motivated to learn new software tools and technology.
