Part-Time Delivery Driver & Brewery Operations Assistant
Part-Time | 10–15 Hours per Week to Start | $14.50-16.50/hour
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our brewery team in a hybrid Delivery Driver & Brewery Operations Assistant role.
This position combines local beer deliveries with hands-on work throughout the brewery, including brewing, cellar, packaging, and warehouse operations. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work who is interested in learning more about the brewing industry and gaining experience in multiple areas of brewery operations.
The position will begin at approximately 10–15 hours per week. Hours will typically be scheduled on weekdays, though occasional weekend availability will be required based on delivery, production, and brewery needs.
Delivery & Logistics
· Execute delivery routes to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts safely and efficiently.
· Load, secure, transport, and unload kegs, cases, pallets, and other brewery products.
· Verify invoices against physical inventory to ensure order accuracy.
· Retrieve empty kegs and pallets from customer accounts and return them to the brewery.
· Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
· Provide friendly and professional customer service as a representative of the brewery.
· Maintain an organized and safe delivery vehicle and loading area.
Brewing & Cellar Assistance
When not making deliveries, this position will assist our brewing and production team with day-to-day brewery operations.
· Prepare brewing materials, including measuring and milling grain according to recipe specifications.
· Clean and sanitize fermenters, brite tanks, brewhouse equipment, and related hardware.
· Assist with monitoring fermentation, including temperature, gravity, and pH readings.
· Support the Head Brewer during brew days with transfers, additions, cleaning, and other production tasks.
· Follow established sanitation, quality, and safety procedures.
Packaging & Warehouse
· Assist with packaging operations, including the canning line and keg washer.
· Palletize and organize finished products.
· Maintain organization of the walk-in cooler and warehouse.
· Restock packaging materials and stage ingredients and supplies for production.
· Perform quality-control checks, including fill levels, seams, and date codes.
· Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized brewery.
What We're Looking For
· Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
· Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
· Professional and friendly when interacting with our wholesale accounts.
· Strong attention to detail, particularly with deliveries and inventory.
· Willingness to learn brewery production processes and take direction from the brewing team.
· Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment.
· Ability to regularly lift up to 55 lbs and safely maneuver kegs or other items weighing up to 165 lbs using proper equipment and techniques.
· Comfortable working around wet floors, cleaning chemicals, hot equipment, and other typical brewery conditions.
· Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all brewery safety and chemical-handling procedures.
· Ability to work primarily weekdays with occasional weekend availability as needed.
Previous brewery, warehouse, delivery, production, or hospitality experience is a plus, but brewery experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. Reliability, work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are more important than previous brewing experience.
