We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. This role is the primary customer contact after the sale, managing all communication, schedules, costs, change orders, and project documentation. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while ensuring safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and overall project success.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a thorough understanding of project contract documents.
- Build, maintain, and monitor project schedules and bid documents.
- Meet or exceed scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety goals.
- Lead day-to-day project operations, including customer communication and milestone reporting.
- Collaborate with company leadership to set priorities and allocate resources.
- Analyze blueprints and project documentation to support accurate cost and labor estimates.
- Track actual project costs versus estimates and assess cost effectiveness.
- Prepare and process change orders.
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and refine estimates.
- Prepare reports outlining progress, risks, trends, and recommendations.
- Manage project close-out activities, including final job costing.
What You Bring
- Previous project management and estimating experience, preferably in manufacturing and/or construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or PMP certification preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project; CAD knowledge a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong math and accounting skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Positive, professional, customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
