Field Service Technician

RTR Business Products is a full line Kyocera office equipment dealer proudly serving the Office Equipment and Document Management System needs of organizations throughout Western Pennsylvania since 1966. We currently have an opening for a Field Service Technician to repair Copiers, Printers, Scanners, etc. in the greater Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities Include:

Perform service calls at customer locations on office equipment such as Copiers, Printers, Scanners, etc.

Assist other technicians in repair and resolution of equipment issues when needed.

Work with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve service issues as needed.

Keep current with the technology, industry and training on the equipment.

Ensure customer satisfaction by being proactive with preventative maintenance and repairs.

Respond to service issues and bring to a resolution in a timely manner.

Utilize customer service skills to maintain a highly professional image of yourself and our company.

Identify areas of productivity improvements and potential cost savings and make recommendations for implementation.

Keep management apprised of service issues.

Promote positive attitudes and teamwork.

Qualifications Include:

Prior experience in office equipment repair. Kyocera / Copy Star experience a plus.

Demonstrated ability to diagnose, trouble shoot and repair office equipment.

Analytical abilities and problem solving.

Basic IT knowledge.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to develop excellent working relationships with customers, co-workers, manufacturers, and vendors.

A positive attitude.
