Position Summary
The Commercial Real Estate Lending Assistant plays an integral role in supporting CRE lenders across the full loan lifecycle, from origination through closing and ongoing servicing. This individual will provide a blend of administrative, analytical, and transactional support, ensuring that loan files are accurate, complete, and progressing efficiently.
The role involves close coordination with borrowers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors, while assisting with underwriting preparation, documentation, and closing logistics. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven lending environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support lenders with loan originations, renewals, modifications, and extensions
- Prepare and assemble complete loan packages for underwriting, approval, and closing
- Order and track third-party reports (appraisals, environmental, title, surveys, zoning)
- Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to closing
- Coordinate with attorneys, title companies, and vendors to ensure timely transaction execution
Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
