Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask/learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction is essential.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy with billing and guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
-Book hotel and restaurant reservations.
- Assist with restaurant hosting.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing phone calls with proper phone etiquette.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each day.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
