Diesel Technician – RST Inc
RST Inc is a family-owned transportation company that has been operating successfully for over 50 years. We are seeking a motivated Diesel Technician to support our fleet of 45 trucks/tractors and 65 trailers, including reefers, flatbeds, step decks, and RGNs. We offer steady, year-round work in a stable and established operation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform periodic inspections on all equipment
- Complete truck and trailer services and preventative maintenance
- Brake repair and replacement
- Electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Computer diagnostics (Cummins Insite & PowerSpec)
- HVAC service and repair (heating and A/C)
- Move equipment within the yard and into service bays
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in a diesel/truck shop
- Personal hand tools (not provided)
- Ability to move tractors and trailers into shop bays
- Strong work ethic and positive, “can-do” attitude
- CDL is a plus, but not required
- Welding and fabrication experience is a major plus
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday (5x8s) or Tuesday–Saturday
