About the Job
A successful candidate for this position must be an experienced, Mobile Trailer Mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
Benefits
- $23-$30/hour - commensurate with experience.
- Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
- Monday-Friday - 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm DAYS!
- Paid holidays and vacations time.
- 401(k) after 1 year.
- Overtime after 40 hours. Bi-weekly paychecks.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
- Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
- Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
- Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.
Requirements
- Must have experience as a Trailer Mechanic.
- Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
