Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Miami, FL. The Director of Resident Care will oversee the development, implementation, and management of high-quality care services for residents. Responsibilities include supervising care staff, creating personalized care plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinating with families and healthcare professionals, and promoting a positive living environment. The role involves monitoring daily care operations, managing schedules, training staff, and addressing concerns promptly to ensure residents' needs are met with compassion and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, with experience supervising teams in a healthcare or senior living setting
- Knowledge of senior care services, including Assisted Living, Memory Care, and regulatory compliance
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling and care planning
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Attention to detail and the ability to address and resolve operational and care-related issues
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- RN or LPN certification, or equivalent healthcare qualifications, is strongly preferred
- Prior experience with senior living communities is a plus
- Proficiency in relevant software and care management systems is a bonus
