Position Overview

Rancho Santa Margarita Honda is seeking motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing service team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Honda vehicles while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns efficiently and accurately.
• Complete repair orders thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly with service advisors.
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
• Participate and maintain Honda training and continuing education programs.
• Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and dealership staff to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
• California resident.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Honda dealership experience is preferred but not required.
• Current California Smog Inspector and/or Repair Technician License is highly encouraged.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Compensation

The Technician position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements:

• Base hourly compensation ranging from $16.90 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and applicable skills.
• Additional production bonus compensation may be earned based on individual and/or team performance.
