Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for a Warehouse Custodian who is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, and distribution of all record material received at the LMBC warehouse. This position ensures a smooth and consistent warehouse operation in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Hiring Range: $21.62 to $25.00 per hour. (The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel less than 5% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow appropriate procedures, including those that protect and identify sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure according to policy and regulatory guidance.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the appropriate locations.
- Receive and count stock items and capture data.
- Mark stock items using appropriate identification and labeling equipment.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Aid staff in the protection and preservation of federal records.
- Employ standardized workflow for records processing and retrieval.
- Coordinates with Information Management staff all receipts, refiles, and retrievals of records from internal and external customers.
- Examine and inspect equipment for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Dispose of damaged, defective, excess, or obsolete items in accordance with procedures.
- Resolve situations utilizing problem-solving skills and provide follow-up.
- May conduct assessments and support audits.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports as necessary.
- Provide records management disaster response support for recordkeeping emergencies.
- Assist with identification of problems related to job duties and suggest process improvements related to position and/or department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in arts, science or related field. Experience in lieu of education considered.
- No minimum experience required. Three years of relevant experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Qualified Warehouse Logistics Professional (QWLP), Certified Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Exhibits a level of language/communications/technical/computer skills and reasoning ability necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Has the ability to work with broad objectives, with latitude, to determine the best way to accomplish tasks.
- Exhibits superior professionalism and provides excellent customer service.
- Basic understanding the principles, concepts, and techniques in the field of managing records through all phases of their life cycle.

Essential Physical Requirements
Medium: Work involves moving objects by exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or an above-negligible amount and up to 10 pounds constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
