Summary:
Supports trading desk by ensuring accurate market data input, trade capture, portfolio valuation, and reporting. Works closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and other stakeholders to maintain trading system integrity, support new product initiatives, and provide analytical tools to enhance portfolio management and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily input and maintenance of market data, including swap rates, spreads, and exchange-traded security prices across multiple currencies.
Validate the accuracy and completeness of market data and valuation inputs used in portfolio revaluation processes.
Investigate and resolve trade reconciliation breaks in collaboration with Middle Office and other support teams.
Accurately book and maintain derivatives transactions in trading and risk management systems.
Perform daily risk and profit-and-loss analysis and prepare reports for traders and senior management.
Develop ad hoc analytical tools and reports to enhance operational efficiency, data quality, and risk controls.
Support the implementation of new products, valuation models and system enhancements.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy in a fast-paced trading environment.
Knowledge of derivatives products, including interest rate swaps*** options, caps/floors, swaptions, and other structured products.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Programming skills in Python, VBA, SQL, or similar languages for automation and analytics.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with Front Office, Middle Office, Technology, and senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support time-sensitive trading and valuation activities.
Experience with market data management, portfolio valuation, risk measurement, and P&L analysis are big plus.
