About the Role
Kymera Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Power BI Consultant to join our data analytics team and enhance the visibility of critical clinical trial data for executive leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on consultant who excels at transforming complex datasets into elegant, insightful, and actionable visualizations.
The backend systems are in place and functioning, but we are looking for someone who can elevate the front-end dashboards, make data stories more intuitive, and implement best practices for design and visualization.
Responsibilities
Analyze existing Power BI dashboards and enhance functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, refine, and translate requirements into impactful data visualizations.
Leverage Power BI, Snowflake, and Data Lake environments to deliver real-time insights to the executive team.
Implement visualization best practices to ensure clarity, usability, and scalability.
Proactively suggest improvements, optimizations, and new ideas in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Ensure data integrity, security, and alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
Proven experience working with Snowflake and Data Lake environments.
Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard UI/UX design principles.
Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business users.
Local to Massachusetts and available for a hybrid schedule (on-site in Watertown, MA).
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the Biotech, Pharma, or Life Sciences industries.
Strong understanding of Microsoft ecosystem (Active Directory, Entra ID).
Background in both data engineering (backend) and visual design (frontend presentation).
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a cross-functional team.
