The Position
RRMM Architects’ Roanoke office seeks a part-time administrative assistant (with potential to go full-time as the position and responsibilities grow) for office support activities. The administrative assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office while providing high-level administrative support to leadership and staff. This role combines office management, coordination, and administrative duties to maintain an efficient, organized, and professional workplace.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including document preparation, filing, scheduling, and data entry.
- Candidates should possess excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating information across teams.
- Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities, such as calendar management, meeting coordination, and support for leadership and project managers.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent), basic database or project management tools, and standard office equipment.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in a professional services, design, or architecture firm is beneficial; a high school diploma or equivalent work experience is required, and post-secondary education or administrative certifications are a plus.
Salary/Hourly Range
The salary/hourly range for this position is $16.83 – $31.25 per hour with overtime opportunities as needed. Compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to candidate’s qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, and certifications.
