RQ Construction is rapidly becoming one of the leading companies in the commercial and government construction industries on the East Coast. With multiple projects across the Southeast region, we are currently seeking full-time General Laborers in the Kings Bay, GA area to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a General Laborer, you will perform a variety of physical tasks at construction sites, using hand and power tools of all kinds. You may also assist other craft workers with their tasks, including cleaning and preparing sites, clearing debris, and removing non-hazardous waste. Additionally, you may operate one or several types of power construction equipment. All tasks will be carried out in accordance with safety protocols and in alignment with RQ Construction's Mission, Vision, and Values.

At RQ Construction, we believe in investing in the growth and development of our employees, which is why we provide on-the-job training and certifications based on the needs of each project (safety, equipment operation, etc.). Prevailing wages will be paid for work performed on military installations.

Pay: $18.00- 25.00 per hour DOE

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least two years of field or trade work experience in commercial construction is required; experience in government, military, or large commercial construction projects is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications are preferred.
• Specific training or certifications in the following areas are preferred:
  • Forklift/Manlift training and certification
  • Fall Protection training
  • Scissor lift/boom lift certification
  • OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification
  • Trenching & Shoring training
  • Confined Space training
  • Lockout/Tagout training
