RQ Construction is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Preconstruction Manager to join our team based out of the Jacksonville, Florida office. This is a hybrid position. The Electrical Preconstruction Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and development of electrical scopes throughout the preconstruction phase, from early design development through project turnover to operations. This role is focused on ensuring all electrical systems are clearly defined, properly coordinated, constructible, and aligned with overall project objectives.
This position is responsible for managing electrical preconstruction efforts including scope analysis, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, procurement planning, subcontractor engagement, constructability reviews, risk assessment, and overall project readiness. The Electrical Preconstruction Manager will work closely with Estimating, Design, Operations, and Project Executive teams to help ensure project scopes are complete, coordinated, and successfully positioned for execution while supporting RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. This role may also provide support to the Electrical Department Leader on additional project scopes and departmental initiatives as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $115,000 - $125,000 annually

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required; equivalent experience and training may be considered
- Additional education or training in project management, electrical trade programs, BIM, CADD, or construction management preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the electrical industry required, including at least 2 years in an Electrical Project Manager or Electrical Preconstruction role
- Experience preparing conceptual estimates and coordinating the design of electrical and telecommunications/data systems strongly preferred
- Previous experience supporting design-build government, military/DoD, or large commercial construction projects preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams preferred
- Experience with construction and preconstruction software such as McCormick, Bluebeam Revu, P6, Autodesk Cloud, or similar platforms required
