Position Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Project Execution is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the company’s most critical strategic initiatives, translating high-level strategy into coordinated, on-time, and high-quality delivery.
This role serves as the execution bridge between strategy and operations, with a focus on mission-critical programs.
Role Focus: Strategic execution, program delivery, and cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities
1.Strategic Initiative Execution
Lead execution of high-priority, company-wide strategic projects.
Translate strategic goals into detailed execution plans and milestones.
Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
2. Program & Portfolio Oversight
Manage a portfolio of strategic programs across multiple functions.
Prioritize initiatives based on impact, urgency, and resources.
Track progress, dependencies, and outcomes.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
Align Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Business teams.
Remove execution bottlenecks and resolve inter-team conflicts.
Ensure seamless collaboration across departments.
4. Execution Governance & Discipline
Establish execution frameworks, cadence, and reporting standards.
Implement KPI tracking, dashboards, and accountability mechanisms.
Drive a culture of ownership and delivery excellence.
5. Risk & Dependency Management
Identify risks and dependencies early in the execution lifecycle.
Develop mitigation strategies and escalation paths.
Maintain visibility into execution health across initiatives.
6. Executive Reporting & Decision Support
Provide real-time updates to executive leadership and board.
Highlight risks, trade-offs, and decision points.
Support leadership in prioritization and resource allocation.
7. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead program managers, project managers, and execution teams.
Build scalable execution capabilities across the organization.
Mentor leaders in delivery discipline and accountability.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
18 years of experience in program management, operations, or strategic execution.
Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree.
Experience in fintech, crypto platforms, or large-scale technology organizations.
Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scrum.
