IT Project Manager – Enterprise AI Initiatives
Healthcare Organization | On-Site | Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required
Position Summary
Our healthcare organization is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of enterprise-wide Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation initiatives. This role will partner with executive leadership, clinical operations, IT, data analytics, and business stakeholders to implement innovative AI solutions that enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise IT project management, experience leading AI or emerging technology initiatives, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, as this position will collaborate with diverse stakeholders throughout the organization. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple enterprise AI and technology initiatives from planning through implementation and post-production support.
- Manage projects involving Generative AI, automation, predictive analytics, and workflow optimization across clinical and business operations.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities where AI can improve patient experience, operational efficiency, and organizational performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Clinical Informatics, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocations, and executive status reports.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements gathering sessions, and steering committee presentations.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, scope changes, and issue resolution while ensuring successful delivery.
- Ensure AI initiatives align with healthcare regulations, security standards, privacy requirements, and organizational governance.
- Work closely with technical teams to oversee system integrations, data migrations, and AI platform implementations.
- Drive change management, user adoption strategies, training initiatives, and communication plans.
- Monitor project KPIs and measure business outcomes to ensure value realization.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for innovation and process optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 7 years of IT Project Management experience leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience managing AI, digital transformation, automation, or data analytics projects.
- Experience working within a healthcare organization, hospital system, payer, or healthcare technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, vendors, timelines, and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required).
- PMP certification preferred.
