Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist

A large company with approximately 50 employees is seeking a Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the accounting team during a system transition period. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling high-volume AR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Post cash payments and apply payments to customer invoices
- Prepare and deposit cash receipts
- Assist with reconciliations and budgeting support
- Support the accounting team during an accounting system transition
- Maintain accurate AR records and ensure timely posting activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous accounts receivable or accounting support experience required
- Experience with cash posting and invoice application
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- No collections experience required
