An opportunity is available for experienced inpatient pharmacists to support patient care at hospitals located in North/Central Ohio, positioned conveniently between Cleveland and Columbus. These roles focus on delivering high-quality pharmacy services in either a 25-bed or 40-bed hospital setting using the EPIC system.
Location:
- Travel assignment based in Galion or Ontario, Ohio
Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM (flexible)
- Work every 4th weekend
Responsibilities:
- Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties requiring detailed attention to medication preparation and distribution
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure adherence to clean room standards
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Ohio pharmacist license required
- Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
