A 13-week travel opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a 160-bed community hospital in Lebanon, PA. This role requires a highly skilled pharmacist with hospital experience to ensure accurate medication dispensing, supervision, and clinical consultation.
Location: Lebanon, PA
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct order verification to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide clinical consultations
- Manage pharmacokinetic dosing adjustments and monitoring
- Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management
- Support chemotherapy dispensing, with some prior experience preferred
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
- Proven hospital pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Exposure to oncology pharmacotherapy considered a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced hospital setting
