You will provide essential phone support, acting as a key liaison between patients, physician office staff, and pharmacy departments to ensure seamless medication delivery and service.Location: Chicago, ILJob Type: Contract to HireEnvironment: Specialty Oncology Pharmacy Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PMOR Separate weekday/weekend schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (EST) Key Responsibilities:Handle inbound calls with first call resolution customer service practices, resolving patient and physician concerns efficiently Coordinate medication deliveries and manage collection of co-payments Triage calls to the appropriate departments when necessary Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to support medication-related inquiries Qualifications:Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably in oncology or specialty pharmacy settings Valid pharmacy technician license in the state of employment Excellent communication and customer service skills PTCB certification is preferred but not mandatory This 17-week contract role offers a path to direct hire, providing a valuable chance to advance your pharmacy technician career within a focused clinical environment.
